Melanie Lucas, President, obtained her BBA—Finance/Healthcare Management—from the University of Central Florida. She is currently Director of Operations at Physician Associates, LLC, and a native of Orlando.
Melanie said: "It is both a privilege and an honor to serve on the Board of Directors of Share the Care. I am fortunate to serve with a special group of people that are sensitive to the painful world of caring for a loved one with a memory disorder. As your 2007 Board of Directors begins its journey, let me assure you our commitment and passion will always be focused on supporting the vital mission of Share the Care."
Richard Miles, Vice President, is a Private Financial Advisor and First Vice President of Sun Trust Investment Services, Inc. in Orlando.
Jason Chepenik, Treasurer, is a Financial Planner at Chepenik Financial Services. He is active with numerous Orlando area community agencies including the Jewish Community Center, the Jewish Federation of Greater Orlando and the Orlando Chamber of Commerce Small Business Board. Jason is also an on-air commentator for News Channel 2 (WESH-NBC), providing financial reports.
Harold E. Morlan, II ("Hal"), Secretary, has practiced Civil Trial Law in Orlando since 1976. Hal was the Secretary of the Christian Service Center Board and a strong supporter of the previous Alzheimer's Respite Care Program (ARCP) of the Christian Service Center. Hal currently serves as an Orange County Bar Association Guardian-Ad-Litem for abused and neglected children, and has also served on numerous civic, non-profit, and professional boards. Hal is a graduate of Princeton University and the University of Florida College of Law.
Mercerdese Clark, Board Director, an Orlando native, obtained her BS in Nursing ED from Hampton University in Virginia and her Master’s in Community Health Administration from the University of Maryland. She holds the distinction of being the first African American to serve as Nursing Director of a County Health Department in the State of Florida (Orange). During her professional career she has also served on the nursing staffs at Orange Memorial Hospital and Winter Park Memorial Hospital. Active with numerous community groups and the recipient of many awards, she is a member of the Jones High School Hall of Fame.
Claramargaret H. Groover, Immediate Past President, is the founding Board President of Share the Care, Inc. A graduate of Stetson University and the University of Florida College of Law, she has her own construction, real estate, and mediation practice in Orlando. She is past president of the Christian Service Center board and has also served on various other civic, non-profit, and professional boards.
Shannon O'Quinn, Board Director, is the Manager, Internal Audit for Brambles Ltd., a publicly-held corporation based in Sydney, Australia. She has over 15 years of experience in Accounting & Finance roles and was formerly a CPA in the Orlando practice KPMG. In addition to her public accounting experience, she has held leading roles in several private and not-for-profit firms. She is a graduate of Florida State University, where she was a National Merit Scholar and a graduate of the Honors Program.
Susan Crampton, Board Director, is Broker/Owner of Pristine Florida Properties, Inc. in Windermere.
Louis Fazio, Jr., Board Director, is Community Relations Manager for Florida Auto Auction of Orlando.
