GiGi Preval became the director and nurse of STC Winter Garden in June 2008. Originally from Haiti, she fluently speaks French and Creole which brings great versatility at Share the Care Winter Garden. GiGi has worked as a healthcare professional specializing in geriatrics for over 15 years. This long time relationship has enabled her to develop an understanding of the various stages of Alzheimer’s as she tailors the center’s daily activities to the current level of functioning of the clients. GiGi embraces the mission and is consistently seeking new ideas to ensure a great atmosphere at the center.

Ana Morales joined our organization in January 2009 as a program aid. A native of Puerto Rico, she is an essential asset as our Hispanic clientele is quickly growing. Having had to care for her elderly mother has given her the compassion and skills needed to efficiently care for our clients. Her crafty skills are boundless and she is driven to make every small event a grand festival

Bertha Cooper Curry joined STC Winter Garden when the center opened in December 2007 as the assistant director. Her role as a caregiver started very early on as she cared for both her mother and aunt simultaneously while working and attending school. 19 consecutive years of experience working with Alzheimer/dementia clients enables her to effectively assume the role of our activity director. She focuses on researching activities leading to sensory experiences and socialization. Her contagious enthusiasm makes every day anything but ordinary.
